Connecting iOS Devices
The BYOD Wireless Presentation system in BMC 3.208 supports AirPlay Mirroring the following iOS devices;
iPhone 4s or later
iPad 2 or later
iPod Touch (5th generation) or later
Limited AirPlay support is provided for older iOS devices to show photos and videos, but not full mirroring of the device screen.
If your iOS device has trouble auto-discovering the wireless receivers in the room you can download the AirServer Connect app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/airserver-connect/id967004087?mt=8) to scan the QR code ont he screen to make the connection.
Step-by-step guide
To connect to a wireless display
- Swipe up front the bottom of your screen to access to Control Center and then select AirPlay
- Choose which Wireless screen you want to connect to and turn on Mirroring
- Your device will ask for a passcode, check the screen you are connecting to and enter the passcode it displays.
- To disconnect from the screen, go back to the Control Center and select AirPlay, then choose iPhone (or iPad/iPod depending on which device you are connecting with).
