Requesting a Wiki Space

To Request a Wiki Space
Please visit ServiceNow and complete the "Request for New Wiki Space" form.
If you are unable to complete the form or need assistance, please cal the UT Service Desk at 512-475-9400.
Filling Out the Form:
When filling out the form, please note that you must include:
- Wiki Title
- This is your wiki space name and will be used to find the space when a user searches the Space Directory. This can be viewed on the wiki space's home page as well.
- Desired URL/Space Key
- This will appear as a part of the URL and may be an abbreviated form of your title.
- Example: if your space name is My New Wiki, your space key may be mnw and appear in the url as: wikis.utexas.edu/mnw
- This will appear as a part of the URL and may be an abbreviated form of your title.
- Wiki Template
- This is the beginning layout of your wiki space and can help get you started when formatting your space.
- Purpose of Wiki
- A general idea of the purpose of your wiki space. This will be viewable in the "Overview" section of the space tools and may help Confluence administrators determine the purpose of your wiki space if all space administrators leave the university.
