MCM Introduction and Onboarding
Welcome to Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM). The Onboarding documentation is designed to guide you through the process of getting your site ready for and onboarding clients to Configuration Manager.
What is Configuration Manager?
Configuration Manager is a management solution for your Windows devices which allows for the following:
- TSCs can remotely deploy software.
- Computer users can optionally use the Software Center to install software that's been made available to them.
- TSCs can see device inventory information and system status to more effectively provide help or in answering University audits.
- Ensures your university owned device is centrally managed in accordance with university requirements.
