Running an SRC File From USB
In this tutorial, you will learn how to load and run a KUKA SRC file from USB.
- If you don't already have a SRC file to run, you can use this basic example. Load the file onto a USB flash drive.
- Turn on a KUKA robot and sign in as administrator following this tutorial.
- Place the USB flash drive into one of the two USB slots on the front of the KUKA control box
- On the teach pendant, you will see a new drive on the left hand side. If you do not see it, make sure you are signed in as administrator.
- Click on the program you want to run.
- Click Edit>Copy
- On the left-hand side of the screen, click on the first icon
- Click on the R1 folder
- Click Edit>Paste
- Pasting an SRC file into the R1 folder causes the computer to compile the program.
- Assuming the program is without errors, it is now ready to run!
- To run the program, select it and click "Select" on the bottom row.
- Running a program requires you to "select" it. "Opening" a program will allow you to edit it, but not to run it.
- You will now see a screen with your program on it.
- To start it, depress at least one of the paddles on the back of the teach pendant and press and hold the green play button
