First decide how you would like to work:

1. Shoot in HD and work in Avid or Premiere in HD	Shoot in HD and work in Avid/Premiere in HD
2. Shoot in 4K, transcode and work in Avid	Resolve – AVID Media Creation for Offline and Roundtrip Workflow or Use Resolve to create 4K Avid Media from A7Sii footage
3. Shoot in 4K and edit native files in Premiere	Edit 4K Natively in Premiere
4. Shoot in 4K, transcode and work in Premiere	Adobe Premiere Pro - Make and work with Proxies in Premiere
5. Over crank, transcode in After Effects and edit with Avid	Overcrank, Transcode with After Effects, edit with Avid

Use Resolve to create 4K Avid Media from unsupported media
