Calendar Sharing in Outlook
Here is how to share and view shared calendars via web-based Outlook.
Sharing your Outlook Calendar
Log into your email at https://office365.austin.utexas.edu .
Change to your calendar view by clicking on the Calendar icon

Click on Share icon in the upper right corner.
In the pop-up window, enter the contact name or email address you would like to share your calendar with. Select that person, and choose appropriate permissions from the drop down menu. Then click the Share button.
Manage permissions from this pop-up window for all contacts with which you have shared your calendar by clicking on the drop down menu. Remove permissions by clicking on the trash icon.
Viewing a Shared Outlook Calendar
Click the Accept button on the shared calendar link you receive in an email.
View your calendar and in the left pane, locate People's Calendars.
Click the contact's name to toggle their calendar on and off.
Customize the view as needed by selecting more options by clicking on the three dots to the right of the contact's/calendar's name.
Adding a Shared Outlook Calendar from the UT Directory
Click Add calendar from the Outlook calendar view
Click Add from directory
From the drop down menu under "Please select an account to search from:" choose your email address.
Under "Select a person, group, or resource from your organization's directory to view the associated calendar", start typing the name of the calendar. For example, "CMHC Planning" will find the CMHC Planning Calendar.
In the "Add to" drop down, choose the calendar category where you want the calendar to show. My calendars is always a good choice for the Planning Calendar but for the CMHC Group Rooms, you might want to put it under "Rooms".
