Galabid

Galabid is a completely free 3rd Party Solution for a client who wants to add an Auction House to their website. It is naturally pretty intuitive and easy for the client to use. However, since it is a completely free platform there are some issues. The big issue is that  you cannot set different auction end dates for different items. You have to create an entirely new campaign in order to have different end dates. There are ways to go around this and keep just one auction page, however, it does require more of a manual set-up in which the client would have to email the auction winner. Secondly, Galabid currently only allows for stripe as their payment processing. Finally, there is a lack of customization when it comes to bids. For example, when someone wins the auction - it does not ask for their shipping address.

Pros:

• Free to use (does have a freenium version in which they take 7% of the total auction proceeds for extra features)
• Extremely easy to add items to the Auction house, meaning easy change management
• Great customer support that answers extremely quickly

Cons:

• Does not allow for different auction end dates for different items in the same auction page
• Only allows stripe intergration for payment processing
• Only allows customizable emails for freenium version
• Does not allow admin to figure out shipping address for auction winner (will have to contact the auction winner themselves)
• Cannot customize information bidder inputs before placing bid
