Add Dimensions
There are two components to entering dimensions: display dimensions and the dimensions table.
Display Dimensions
Display dimensions are the default display in captions, reports, and eMuseum. You can enter free text directly into the display dimension field, but this should only be a temporary placeholder before you are able to confirm and enter dimensions into the dimension table. Collection cataloguing is not complete with only display dimensions, the dimensions must also be entered into the dimension table.
Dimensions Table
The Dimensions Table can hold multiple dimensions for an object and its components. It supports the display dimension field.
Dimensions "Elements" represent a complete set of dimensions. (Canvas, frame, sheet dimensions)
"Dimensions" are each line under an element type (height, width, depth)
Step-by-step guide
An Element must be added for each set of dimensions.
- Click to add a new element.
