Registration Days & Times are posted the day after the next semester's course schedule is posted online.
Check your Registration Info Sheet (RIS) for registration dates. Note: In previous years, your summer registration times are the same as the fall times during the first registration period.
Registration Holds usually appear the day after the next semester's course schedule is posted online.
Check your Registration Info Sheet (RIS) for registration holds. There should be a link that will direct to how to remove the hold.
Types of Registration Holds
Admissions Office hold: this hold indicates that you need to send your final high school or college transcript to UT Admissions.
Advising Hold: this hold will be cleared after your one-on-one advising session with your Academic Advisor, Mark-Anthony Zuniga.
Emergency Contact Information hold: this hold indicates that you must update your emergency contact information. You may update and confirm your information, here.
Financial hold: Please review your What I Owe page for information.
Financial Responsibility Statement hold: this hold indicates that you must sign your financial responsibility statement. You may view and sign your statement, here.
International Briefing and Check-In (IBC) hold: All international students must complete Texas Global’s Check-in prior to their orientation session. For more information, visit their website.
Medical hold: this hold indicates that you must complete University Health Services’ (UHS) medical clearance requirements. For more information, visit their website.
Texas Success Initiative (TSI) hold: this hold indicates that you must complete Texas Success Initiative requirements prior to or during orientation. If you have any questions about this hold, please contact the TSI Office.
