Title Variations
Scan for switch 16/topic 0: Only unnumbered topics can vary their titles. Courses without switch 16 or numbered topics must always carry the title from inventory unless it is an approved dash designation i.e. –WB

Actions

• • Rollover Discrepancy: Leave the title as-is, leave the scheduling comment, and mark for deletion.
  • Original Returned Discrepancy:
    1. No GPC Request: Leave title as-is, leave comment, and mark for deletion.
    2. GPC Request: Change the title to 'Placeholder (Correct course number)', leave scheduling comment, and do not delete.
    3. Invalid class i.e. deleted from inventory: Delete class and re-add correct class with same information
  • Chair Proof Returned Discrepancy: Don't change title or leave production comment. Leave log note saying to re-add as correct inventory then delete. Can add section with correct information.

Replacing unnumbered topic with course already existing in inventory

Actions are same as above

Reverting title to previously offered version

If a title for an unnumbered topic has been offered already in the same FOS, credit value, and level then revert to previously offered title

Editing first time title offering

If a title is being offered for the same time make sure it reflects our standards i.e. 27 characters or less, proper abbreviations i.e. no 'STDS' for 'studies'

• Scan for switch 16 non-topic 0
• Check for new courses added to inventory
  • CTRL+F: Search for title in Courses Added to Inventory
• Check against course inventory
  • CTRL+F: Search for title in Course Inventory
• Search title inventory
• Modify titles offered for first time
