Mainframe Fields Commands
- General: Add '?' into a field and press enter for user guide
UTQA
- Q JB Job Number will show job status
- You can search jobname with jobname
- CMD O Type JB to run job
- CMD O Type CC (condition code) lets you see the output in mainframe
- CMD O Type SO (system output)
- CMD O Type SM (system message)
- CMD W Type SO and T to send to webdav as text
- Q: I = Input Queue Q: O = Output Queue Q: X = Executing Queue
TXTBLS
- CMD: E1/E2 (Use E2, E2 provides a CCYS key: CLASS-MGR 20112DEAN/CHAIR/SCHED as well as FINAL EXAM20159)
- Job name: NRCSDATE – sets CSU dates
- Job name: NRSCHED – sets course schedule and final exam dates (Must include Chair, Dean and Sched phases or will not work)
- Jobname: NRSEMDEP/NRSEMDAY/NRSEMTIM (we only modify NRSEMDEP)
- A=Add, C=Change, D=Delete + FOS number i.e. C01=change record 01
- NRESEMDEP adds FOS to pull down search menu in course schedule
- TXTBLQ – Authorizations for QUAL
NRRECS
- CMD: LP and then YYS
- CMD: CF and then unique to check closing limit changes
- CMD: RG, RI and CR to see course information and roster information and to update closing limits
DPUSER,
- CMD: UP, USERID (from NRRECS), Application: NRRECS – How to find names/eids based on mainframe IDs
- Program: DPUSER, CMD: UL, USERID: RGA – to see staff mainframe IDs
- DE=developer, ST=student
- CMD: AA to update access for NRCRSE for CBE and Fees
- CMD: AA to update system owners
- NRCR20 – Used to find when a standalone course was last offered. For topics courses use the title inventory
