Pro Tools Error - Could not create the TCE plug-in's factory default file because the plug-in doesn't support the current sample rate.

This error is coming up whenever we updated to version 12.8. Fixed it on most labs seats but this is the fix just in case.

is occurring when the new install of ProTools. This wiki shows how

to fix it.

To fix this error delete the audio Midi Setup settings

Launch the Audio MIDI Setup

Click on the ProTools Aggregate I/O and choose to delete it.

click on the Minus Icon in the lower left and then close the audio

MIDI setup

When ProTools launches it will re-create it properly
