G.1 Promotion Review Voting Sheet

All votes and recommendations are recorded on the Promotion Review Voting Sheet (a CSU-specific Smartsheet form) provided by the Faculty Affairs team in the Provost’s Office.

For promotion and tenure decisions, votes from eligible committee members (Section A.4) must be recorded as “yes” or “no” on the voting sheet.

Eligible members are not permitted to “abstain” from voting. An eligible member who is unable to attend the committee discussion cannot vote and must be counted as “absent.”

The total number of absent eligible voters and the total number and names of ineligible members of the BC/EC and/or CAC must also be recorded on the Promotion Review Voting Sheet.
