Jamf Connect - Endpoint Client Settings

Introduction

Jamf Connect will provide single-sign-on authentication for you to your desktop or laptop. Rather than juggling multiple passwords, you will be able to log in to your university endpoint with your EID and password. This article will guide you through setting up and logging in using Jamf Connect on your desktop or laptop. 


There will be a Microsoft sign-in prompt where you'll enter your UT Austin email address.

This will redirect you to authenticate with your EID or UT email address and password. 


If this is your first time using Jamf Connect you will need to select your current local account 

You will be prompted to enter your current local account password, your system will log you in and your account and password will successfully sync. 

If you need to reset your password we have included a link to change password page under the Jamf Connect icon.

Once you have reset your password you will need to logout of your system and then log back in and you will be prompted to enter your old local password to sync the new one.
