August

26^th SP training

28^th- 29^th Preceptor recruitment in all courses during class time

September

3^rd Preceptor electronic applications due by 5pm

5^th Preceptors Selection Gala in evening

6^th Preceptors notified by 6pm

9^th- 13^th First Weekly Meetings with the senior preceptor and professor

12^th & 13^th Preceptor Training

15^th Study Groups Begin!

October

one day during week of 21^st-25^th  All-SP observation debrief/First Round Observations Complete

Second Round Observations can occur anytime after October 27

(once second round of observations start Preceptors can apply to become a Senior Preceptor)

November

11^th - Dec 4^th  Preceptors may apply to become a Senior Preceptor

18^th- 22^rd Preceptor Appreciation Week!! Do something special for your preceptors, a nice speech or short thank-you notes go a long way!

 Week of the 25^th 2nd round observations done

December

4^th Preceptor application deadline to become Senior Preceptors DUE (via qualtrics link, SP's share via wpm)

4^th SP comments on candidate senior preceptors DUE (to Leta/on google doc in box--pending)

5^th Last Day of Official Study Groups

6^th Last Class Day!

9^th- 10^th Dead Days/SP Appreciation Lunch

11^th- 17^th Finals
